There was no big splash for Holly on her 3 month birthday unless getting a new hedgehog counts as one. The hedgehog was a big hit, so much so that it only took 20 minutes before the stuffing was a bigger hit than the hedgehog. Future hedgehogs will have stronger fur and tighter joints.
Holly and I took a road trip to DeeAnn’s house today. Holly took liberty to go upstairs, coming down took some persuasion as the steps are a bit steeper than those at my house. She had to sit down a few times to calculate the difference with eventual success in figuring it out.
DeeAnn and I went to watch A.J. play basketball at Duluth Marshall and Holly broke her record of longest kennel stay with a time of 3 1/2 hours. She’s been such a trooper with all the tests and challenges I’ve put her through. A few whimpers here and there but for the most part she settles in and accepts it. I’m hoping that is a sign that home feels like home even when she is home alone (with Gracie!).
